PLAYSTATION 5 Redesign

This is my take on the Playstation 5 Redesign after many Revisions and iteration on both the main console and the controller. As Being unsatisfied with what Sony came with with the original one, i decided to finally bring this design to life after it kept nagging my head for several weeks since the Sony unveil.

In short I wanted it to be more Elegant, Modern with hard edges and more angular shapes and not too futuristic while being practical.

As you may notice, this design is only meant for vertical standing as I believe that it's very hard to design something appealing that its suitable for both vertical and horizontal use unless it has a boxy shape which limit your creative ideas in the first place.

I spent more time working on the controller design and execution because I kept changing my mind regarding its overall shape, absolutely loved the original one but wanted to make something more angular with bigger gripping that its more reminiscent of the PSX controller .

Since I was uncertain regarding the overall shape, I went with a classic sub D modeling as its offer more freedom for further tweaking in contrast with the console which was made with Cad modeling.

I'm planning to make more renders and experiment with more coloc variations ( oh black here i come ) and eventually more versions too, so stay tuned.
